Starting to eat food!

It is so wonderful to hear her speaking. She continues to do better each day! She says she is sorry she is sick! We are too!!! We are grateful for the therapists that continue to work with her each day. Today when the speech therapist was working with Mom, she had her trying food - working on her swallowing! Mashed potatoes, Chicken, and Applesauce were the foods she got to try. Along with that meal she got to drink apple juice from a straw. She said the food tasted good! I bet it's much better than the feeding tube she's had. Mom was reading the white board across the room, and the clock. We are so glad her eyes are working together now. We are so happy for how far she has come!
