Making Progress

This morning:
Mom is making excellent progress. This morning when she went to have her MRI the nurse and technician said her eyes were open and her left leg was moving. They also said that when they asked her to hold up two fingers if she could hear them, she did!

This Afternoon:
Mom was very peaceful, and got a lot of rest during the day. She did have a lot of visitors. Among them was her father which was very special since he doesn't make it out very often. We haven't gotten the results on the MRI, but the ultrasound on her veins and arteries was normal.
Another piece of exciting news came right at 6pm when my Dad, Peter, and Julie were getting booted out of the room for shift change. They said that mom opened her eyes again, and was squeezing their hands with her right hand, and she was moving her left leg. Also when my dad was telling her "goodbye" she kept squeezing his hand.

We are very excited with how things are going, and hope she continues to improve.
